Master of Technology Thermal Sciences

Department of mechanical engineering offers MTech course in thermal sciences to enhance the knowledge in advanced engineering thermodynamics, heat generation systems, heat transfer, IC engine, power plant technology and energy conservation with an intake of 18. Develop students’ competence in the use of analytical, computational and experimental methods for the analysis of heat and fluid flow in both industrial and research applications.

The program aims to produce postgraduate specialists with, in depth understanding of heat and fluid flow processes both analytical and experimental techniques and their role in advanced trends in thermal sciences. This program ultimately produces post graduates ready for responsible positions in industry or pursue further research career in the fields of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and energy.
