PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES

PSO 1: Apply computer science principles such as data structures, algorithmic techniques and software engineering methods to specify, design and develop software artifacts for solving real-world problems.

PSO 2: Design an algorithm, component, or process to meet desired needs, within realistic constraints through analytical, logical and problem-solving skills.

PSO 3: Test and analyze the quality of various subsystems and to integrate them to evolve a larger computing system.

PSO 4: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation and implementation of various of Computer Science and Engineering.

CURRICULUM

MTech program is of two years duration. First year is dedicated to course work and second year is dedicated for dissertation. The core courses offered in the program are Research methodology, Advanced algorithms, Advanced computer graphics, Wireless ad hoc networks, Advanced computer architecture, Data warehousing and Mining, Cryptography & Network security, Soft computing, Cloud computing and Service oriented architecture. A set of elective courses are offered to give in depth exposure in selected areas. During dissertation, students are expected to identify research problem and solve it. At the end , a thesis documenting research work is to be submitted.
